Back from Berg

Berg Lake was one of the most outstanding hikes I have ever done. Every twist and turn in the trail was the entrance to a new and totally different view. Here is a collection of this amazing hike that Stevin and I did back in September 2015.

The start of the hike on fresh legs, this couple passed us and I couldn't help but sneak a shot.

Again, I'm sneaking shots of strangers having lunch. If you ever see me hiking, watch out!

The pre-glow from Mt Robson. We hiked 5km in the dark to get to this spot for sunrise. It was well worth it because it rained the next morning claiming a sunrise from us.

It was hard to wrap my mind around this beautiful glacier. Every so often we could hear massive chunks of ice break off and fall into the lake.

We hiked up to a lookout point just as the rain clouds started to roll in.

  1. Truly amazing! Unfortunate I live in the urbanized part of Europe … Does WordPress automatically downscale your images? I’d love them as a background!
